Classic development versus Context Driven Development: what actually differs

Same goal, different route. A comparison of classic development and a context-driven approach across the five things a business really cares about.

What this comparison is about

When a company needs software, it usually compares agency quotes by hours and rate. We approach it differently — not to be the cheapest at any cost, but because the order of the steps decides the outcome. Here are five things where you can see it.

Where the two approaches differ

Time to delivery. Classically, code is written for weeks or months before you see a first usable version. We let AI take the routine part and reach a working version in days to weeks — not by cutting quality, but because nobody waits for a free team slot on every line.

Cost. In the classic model you pay for hours, including overhead, project management and handing work between people. With us you pay for AI usage, human testing and advice. What is hidden in the rate and adds no direct value falls away.

Flexibility. A change to a finished system tends to be expensive and slow, because it is made into something nobody properly wrote down. When the context is captured up front and the tests are written before the code, a change is a fast iteration, not a step into the unknown.

Foundation. Generic methods work for generic briefs. We build on your real context — how the business runs, where the exceptions are, what is handled by hand — combined with expertise from dozens of similar projects.

Quality. In the classic model it depends on who happens to have time. With us it is defined by tests written before the code and by a person who reviews the output. AI speed and human control are not at odds — neither is enough on its own.

What you get, and how we help

In short: it is not about being the cheapest, but about paying for value, not hours. If you want to see how this would look on your project, get in touch — we will prepare a transparent estimate from your context.
